"Approaching the mind, body and soul holistically"
I'm Janette, an English teacher for students with Special Educational Needs. What does this mean? I teach students who are experiencing learning difficulties, mental and social difficulties, mental retardation as well as people who belong on the autism spectrum.
I started teaching in 2016 and having worked in schools, universities and colleges in Greece and abroad, I felt a strong pull towards a more holistic approach.
My need for such an approach and my love for yoga philosophy and psychology led me to the creation of my method, "Yogibelle."
It is my intention to always approach students based on their own individual needs and to support each person's innate abilities, contributing thus to their effective learning.
Why a Holistic Approach?

Body
Movement energizes and calms both mind and body.

Soul
By taking care of our mental health we enter a state of balance and openness.

Mind
We actively learn how to concentrate and become observant.

Values
Empathy
Self-compassion
Self-regulation
Discipline
Confidence
Trust
Differentiated Teaching
Each lesson is based on the needs of the student and supports their innate abilities for effective learning.

Support & Guidance
The lesson revolves around supporting the students so that they achieve their goals by themselves.
